Job Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, assemble, and repair various upholstered products.
• Select and cut fabrics, foams, and other materials according to specifications.
• Measure, cut, and sew fabrics, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
• Install padding, springs, and upholstery items with care to achieve a professional finish.
• Examine and repair damaged upholstery, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and clean work areas regularly.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to meet production goals.
• Adhere to safety protocols and health regulations throughout the manufacturing process.

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Upholsterer or similar role.
• Knowledge of upholstery techniques, materials, and tools.
• Strong sewing skills, with an ability to operate industrial sewing machines.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail and a passion for quality workmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.

Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in upholstery or a related field.
• Experience in custom upholstery work is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with different types of upholstery materials and their appropriate uses.

Salary & Benefits:

The annual salary for this role ranges from $74,000 to $85,000 AUD
