Qualifications:

• Proven experience in residential and/or commercial painting
• Skilled in surface preparation: sanding, patching, and priming
• Proficient with brushes, rollers, and spray guns
• Knowledge of various paint types and colour matching
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Meets trade skill standards (TRA assessment may be required)
• English language proficiency (IELTS, PTE, or equivalent) per Australian visa requirements

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, and priming
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using appropriate tools and techniques
• Mix and match paint colours to achieve desired results
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Work collaboratively with other trades and project teams
