Automotive Painter

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking to protect parts that are not to be painted.
• Mix paint colors and apply paint to vehicle surfaces using spray guns.
• Apply touch-up paint as needed to cover any imperfections.
• Inspect painted vehicles for quality and ensure correct color matching.
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulations while working with chemicals and equipment.

Essential Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as an Automotive Painter for at least 5 years.

Desired Experience:

• Demonstrated proficiency in preparing surfaces and applying paint in an automotive setting.
• Knowledge of different types of paint and their application methods.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Salary & Benefits:

• Job Type: Full-time
• Salary: $30 – $35 per hour
• Currency: New Zealand Dollars (NZD)

Future requirements:

  • Passport copy, Showing 1 year + validity
  • Police clearance

Financial requirements:

• There is NO show-money needed to be seen by immigration when applying for a working visa to NZ​​​​​​​.
