Agricultural Mechanic

Job Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain agricultural equipment such as tractors, plows, harvesters, and irrigation systems.
• Diagnose issues with machinery, perform adjustments, and conduct routine maintenance to ensure proper functioning.
• Keep detailed records of service and maintenance work performed on equipment.
• Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper functionality before returning to service.
• Collaborate with other maintenance and farm workers to troubleshoot and address mechanical problems.
• Stay updated on industry advancements and technological developments related to agricultural equipment.

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Agricultural Mechanic or similar role.
• Technical knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Desired Experience:

• 5 years of experience in repairing and maintaining agricultural equipment.
• Experience working with various brands and types of agricultural machinery.
• Certification in Agricultural Mechanics or related field is a plus.

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary Type: Hourly
• Currency: Dollars (NZD – New Zealand)
• Minimum Salary: $30 per hour
• Maximum Salary: $35 per hour
